Allied Command Operations CSEL visits NISRF in Sigonella

SIGONELLA, Italy - The Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) for Allied Command Operations (ACO) at NATO's Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) Kevin J. Mathers, recently visited the NATO Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Force (NISRF) at its home base in Sigonella, Italy.

During his visit, Mathers received a comprehensive tour of the NISRF facilities and had the opportunity to engage in discussions with several NISRF members. This interaction allowed him to gain valuable insights into the unique challenges and operational requirements of the NISRF.

The role of the ACO CSEL is crucial for ensuring that the needs and perspectives of enlisted personnel are effectively integrated into NATO's operational planning and execution.

During the NISRF-tour, guests also visit the hangars where the five RQ-4D PHOENIX aircraft are sheltered.
